I tried that once, but I stumbled across a corpse that... well it seemed human...

I spoke to the local police, but they were very dismissive about it. Apparently there's an old wreck out in the bay and things get washed up from time to time. Nothing to worry about.

Also the local villagers seem to get really agitated at night and I'd rather not run into them.
