So I've been playing Smash for many years, competitively too, but there's one character I struggle to fight against: Peach. Whenever I play against Peach, I just can't concentrate and my opponents always win. It always feels like my heart is racing when I fight Peach.

What should I do?

Well our week away in Weymouth has all but come to an end. Should arrive home soon.

Generally things were okay between us. There was a moment when things went a bit sour, but it didn't last.

Im not entirely sure what kind of relationship I have with my wife. Do I love her? I guess, but I'm not entirely sure what that means. It's not the kind of love I used to feel. Certainly not as profound. From what we've discussed that seems to be her take on it as well.

Sex life continues to be non-existent, but I've never been all that bothered by sex. I've never had what you might call a high sex drive. I've spoken to her about it, to see how she feels, but she is seemingly content to not be sexual active - well not with me anyway was the impression I got.

I suppose we're more like friends than a couple and I'll be honest, I'm content with that as long as the children live at home. After that? I'll cross that bridge in time. For now I'm sticking around. I'm financially secure, have roof over my head, can come and go as I please, and I'm close to my children. That said I am sticking £100 a month aside just in case.

Not the best scenario, granted, but not the worst either.

Stay single folks. Stay single. I certainly wouldn't do this again.

Glad to hear things have improved Gemini, even if only slightly. As somebody who has absolutely no experience with marriage or relationships involving children, but knows several people who've been in a position where they've been forced to move out, barely see their children, and have had to start all over essentially, it sounds like you're in a relatively decent place for now. Wise putting some money aside though. Hope things stabilise.

Thanks, mate. Things are peaceful and if we can stick being together in a caravan a whole week then home, where we can leave the room anytime, should be okay.

Our wedding anniversary is at the end of June and I've suggested we come back to the caravan with the kids. She liked the idea rather than forcing some romantic evening with just the two of us. Her life is our children, (and perhaps that is why a barrier has grown between us, it's not unheard of in relationships), but I'm happy for that to be the case at this time. She's a wonderful mother, but also respects my importance of my being a father to the girls.

My only concern is the girls will eventually pick up that something is amiss. Again though, I'll cross that bridge when it happens.

Make sure she thinks hard about what is going to be. They are permanent and a bad one now will look even worse in the future.

Had a tortoise at my last house. We lost him for 3 days once and he didn't give a gooseberry fool.

Easiest pet ever.

He was a pygmy tortoise so pretty small. We'd let him wander about during the afternoons to get some exercise. One day we all went to bed without putting him back in his pen and he wandered off. Turns out he'd sought out the coldest place in the flat, probably trying to hibernate. He was only 4 though, and you're not supposed to hibernate them until they're 5 or more so we gave him a tomato and plonked him back in his hutch.

Also, mythbuster time, tortoises ain't strawberry floating slow when they don't want to be. Put a strawberry on the floor anywhere in a 2 metre radius and the little gooseberry fool would sprint across the floor to get to it.
