She also said "Why are you talking like a weirdo? Please leave me alone."

I'd say go for a coffee or beer but somewhere with decent food, if it's going bad cut it short and politely back away and if it's going well then you can do the "while your here do you fancy getting something to eat?" thing. That way it gives you an open to extend or quickly end the date.

Yeah go for a drink with the option of getting dinner if they're not a weirdo.

That sounds like a classic case of knowing your audience -- there's a certain kind of person for whom that's a fantastic first date idea and you're it. :P

Who was the poster that took a girl to the cinema and then for a walk? There was something about rabbits as well?

It was actually really funny, and a nice way to get a lot of the awkwardness out of the way. There was a bit about wanking where everyone had to change seats.

ooooo getting close.

As long as you say names right and stuff all is good. Just remember to enjoy the day, so many seem to spend so much time worrying everyone else is ok and that it is all going to go ok that they dont actually get to enjoy themselves.

Just don't get shitfaced, try and limit the amount you drink so you can actually enjoy the day and remember it!

So many chavs get absolutely wasted and have no recollection of one of the biggest days of their lives, such a waste of effort and money  :fp:

Also don't forget to compliment your bride in your speech (I nearly did this).
