The chances of her getting a worm in her brain from not washing her hands is so small, it's probably closer to zero percent rather than one percent. She'd have to come into contact with a worm and then somehow touch her eyeballs or her brain or some path way where the egg could travel undetected by the immune system up into the brain.

The dirty bitch must have been picking her nose with a strawberry floatin' worm on the end! She must have thought 'mmm, i'll keep this warm up her 'til lunch time'. I reckon she was picking her own arse, then her nose.

That probably sounds about the most plausible thing I can think of. But she'd have to have been digging really hard, like proper getting in there and maybe scratching her brain or breaking some skin somewhere for the damn worm to get in. Unless penis spider laid an egg in her ear. A deformed egg which hatched into a worm which would grow into another penis spider.
