Makes May seem strong too, as she apparently spent a very long time speaking to world leaders in person and over the phone convincing them of the evidence according to Sky News.
[Corbynite]There’s no evidence until Russia confirm it[/corbynite]
I don’t think that’s ever been the case. Even if it looks 99.9% likely it was Russia, any other criminal offence or whatever would be expected to be proven without doubt. It wasn’t that long ago the government took us in to an illegal war which has completely strawberry floated the Middle East as well as Europe/the EU and something which will continue to affect these areas for a long time in to the future.
Now other countries have came out in response to the attack however I would expect most people on the fence would accept it
At first, I don't think Corbyn was privy to any evidence that proved the nerve agent came from Russia which is why he said it was likely but refused to say it definitely came from there. France were in the same boat, but since then both Corbyn and France have made clear the evidence now points to Russia.
Corbyn's current 'mistake' according to the media is that he won't point the finger directly at Putin. As likely as that may be, you still need to have evidence to back up those sort of claims before you point fingers.
