I'll give him credit at least for popularising the term "fake news", which I'm guessing some will use to justify his remarks there.

WTF, the 'fake news' term was pretty commonly used to describe genuinely fabricated news stories appearing on places like Facebook - what the deplorables and their orange idiot did was to start labelling real news as fake news to dismiss stories they didn't like. Twat.

Mike Pence and his wife had a nice time at the NFL today...for all of 5 minutes.

There are some hilarious rumours about Mike Pence. Hilarious because of the irony.

Still on NFL:

AP wrote:CBS clarifies after saying Kaepernick would stand for anthem

NEW YORK (AP) — A CBS reporter has clarified his televised report saying quarterback Colin Kaepernick told him he would stand during the national anthem if he played in the NFL again, saying he didn’t discuss the issue with the player when they spoke.

Jason La Canfora said in a series of tweets on Sunday that he was relaying previous reporting about Kaepernick and did not ask whether the former San Francisco 49ers quarterback would sit or stand during the anthem.

The reversal came after anchor James Brown asked La Canfora on “The NFL Today”: “And kneeling, he said?”

La Canfora responded: “He’s not planning on kneeling. He’s going to donate all his jersey sales and he’s planning on standing for the anthem if given the opportunity, J.B.”

La Canfora tweeted later that he does not know what Kaepernick would do during the anthem.

Relying on unnamed sources, ESPN reported in March that Kaepernick would stand during the anthem if he played again. But Kaepernick has not spoken publicly about what he would do.

All together...FAKE NEWS.

He took a picture at the start of the game, then left after 5 minutes due to players kneeling. He later posted a slightly edited version of that first picture and claimed to be there as the second half of the game commenced, which was clearly a lie.

The photo was posted three years ago and he posted it today as if it was new.

So he obeyed Trump but wants people to think he disobeyed him? That doesn’t make much sense.

I don't understand what he was going to the Colts game for in the first place really.

I guess it's entirely coincidental that they were playing the 49ers as well...

The US Govt transport policy seems very weird. It appears to be transparent, but it seems much more acceptable to blow large amounts of public money on ridiculous travel.

It’s utterly embarrassing, but unfortunately Trump supporters will lap this gooseberry fool up. :fp:
