His goal is to enrich his family, utterly destroy his enemies (read: critics etc), boost his brand globally, and become a heavily mythologized American demi-god along the same lines as Washington, Lincoln, FDR, JFK, Reagan et al.

Well that's not going to work, has anyone tried telling him? Maybe that's all it needs.

Telling him just gets you put on his gooseberry fool list.

I've been watching these since he became President and it's the usual 'Trump's a dangerous idiot' you would expect.

But my god this latest one. Some of these people getting into or being nominated for public office are genuinely despicable people. The lunacy on show begs belief. I think regardless of what happens, Russia has completely achieved its aim of destabilising the US and have exposed how truly broken the system over there is and how horribly split the nation has become.

This all begs the question: Will there be a revival of The Americans set in the present day?

Maybe so, but I think it's quite heartwarming to see members of almost every government department, even the White House, boiling over with civic duty to such an extent that they would risk their livelihoods, future career prospects and even freedoms to keep the people in the loop, even provide vital counters to official propaganda.

Not until 2018 at least and not even then if the Democrats don't win the midterms.

I am not sure the Republican majorities will be decisive. After all, they would surely prefer a straight up Republican like Mike Pence to the erratic and clearly deranged Trump. What matters is whether or not Trump becomes a liability to them. At the moment, they won't cross him for fear of losing support from their base, but if Trump's approval drops from 40 to 30, expect the question of impeachment to get more interesting.

Trump would have to do some astonishingly terrible for his own party to impeach him. Just normal Trump terribleness isn't going to be enough while the Republican's control everything.

Apologies if already posted.

China awards Donald Trump valuable trademark days after he agrees to honour 'One China' policy - US President struggled for nearly a decade to win the rights but see court rule in his favour shortly after his election

It's a crazy world when a slang term for farting is a valuable trademark.

Trump currently giving a campaign rally speech in Florida right now on TV. How convient how the only 5 black people in attendance are slap bang in the middle of the hard camera holding the same "blacks for Trump" signs. Complaining about fake news again.
