Reince Priebus is getting on White House staffers' tits:

With the White House struggling to gain its footing almost two months into Donald Trump's presidency, administration officials are increasingly putting the blame on one person: Reince Priebus.

In interviews, over a dozen Trump aides, allies, and others close to the White House said that Priebus, the 44-year-old chief of staff, was becoming a singular target of criticism within the White House.

They described a micro-manager who sprints from one West Wing meeting to another, inserting himself into conversations big and small and leaving many staffers feeling as if he’s trying to block their access to Trump. They vented about his determination to fill the administration with his political allies. And they expressed alarm at what they say are directionless morning staff meetings Priebus oversees that could otherwise be used to rigorously set the day’s agenda and counterbalance the president’s own unpredictability.

The finger-pointing further complicates life in an already turmoil-filled West Wing, one that has been hobbled by dueling power centers and unclear lines of command.

“There’s a real frustration among many — including from the president — that things aren’t going as smoothly as one had hoped,” said one senior administration official, who like others spoke on the condition of anonymity for fear of reprisal. “Reince, fairly or not, is likely to take the blame and take the fault for that.”

Trump just sounds like a complete twat who seems to have no idea how to run an administration as he's always been surrounded by yes men and he's completely convinced of his own infallibility.
It's like when he says he knows more about combat tactics than the generals without a hint of irony as her honestly thinks he's obviously smarter then they are and they surely can't hope to match his tactical genius even after decades in the military versus his zero time in the military.

I am sure when slaves were having strips torn off them they were thinking about just how good their children's children would have it in the good ol' US of A. Nothing to see here. Move along.

That people have an issue with others taking offence at this (as opposed to the whole downplaying of slavery) is shocking me more than Ben Carson saying something really dumb. (He's been doing it for so long now, you know?)

Needlessly to say it's a big giveaway to companies and the rich (look how much you can save tax efficiently!) while screwing poor.

This is honestly so sad to see that no party has been able to grow a strawberry floating backbone and tell the insurance companies to strawberry float off and implement a single payer health care system!

Of course the people in the government try to make it seem as if this would be hugely expensive and impossible to do when in reality the savings in just doing paper work with the insurance companies would mean they could implement such a system with 0 extra cost to tax payers.

The only thing stopping them from having a great health care system is these people being fed constant lies. :fp:
