More on Sam Nunberg. It's either an epic alcohol fuelled meltdown or some elaborate game:

He's backed down on his 'arrest me' stance. Wise considering he could serve 18months.

That’s because he is a star.

It will be interesting to see if Trump says anything at all about the situation with possible Russian secret service killings on UK soil.
I think any other US President would be having press conferences and offering to help as we would if this happened in the US.

What did they do when that other Russian guy died of Polonium poisoning? I can't recall Bush getting involved with that, although it was a while ago so I might just be forgetting.

What is Russia's beef with the UK? They seem to be particularly overt in their targeting of us, what with the bombers flying into our airspace on numerous occasions, their aircraft carrier encroaching into our territorial waters, assassinating people in our quiet towns and of course buying our London-based football teams. It's just not on.

I think London is a bit of hotbed for ex Russian agents. At least that was the impression I got from reading that Steel article.

Yep, London has loads and loads of Russian expats many of whom got rather rich in the chaos after the collapse of Communism.

To be honest I can't remember but I can't imagine such a big event going by in the UK or the US without a statement of support from the President or PM.I'm not expecting Trump to threaten WW3 but I do expect him to mention this event even if it's to clarify that if they do this in the US some serious gooseberry fool would then happen.

Gary Cohn to Resign as Trump’s Top Economic Adviser

Gary D. Cohn, President Trump’s top economic adviser, plans to resign, becoming the latest in a series of high-profile departures from the Trump administration, White House officials said on Tuesday.

The officials insisted there was no single factor behind the departure of Mr. Cohn, who heads the National Economic Council. But his decision to leave came after he seemed poised to lose an internal struggle amid a Wild West-style process over Mr. Trump’s plan to impose large tariffs on steel and aluminum imports.

A new lawsuit filed by the porn star known as Stormy Daniels claims President Donald Trump never signed a hush agreement regarding an alleged sexual encounter between the two and therefore the agreement is void.

According to the legal complaint filed in California state court and tweeted out by her lawyer on Tuesday, Trump's personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, signed the document on behalf of the President instead.

The porn star, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, claims in the lawsuit to have had an affair with Trump several years prior to his presidency. However, the lawsuit claims that when he was running for office and multiple women were coming forward to share stories of their own alleged encounters with the then-Republican presidential candidate, Cohen intervened in an attempt to keep Clifford from coming forward as well.

The lawsuit says Cohen has continued his attempts at silencing Clifford -- including as recently as February 27, 2018.

"To be clear, the attempts to intimidate Ms. Clifford into silence and 'shut her up' in order to 'protect Mr. Trump' continue unabated," the lawsuit states. "For example, only days ago on or about February 27, 2018, Mr. Trump's attorney Mr. Cohen surreptitiously initiated a bogus arbitration proceeding against Ms. Clifford in Los Angeles. Remarkably, he did so without even providing Ms. Clifford with notice of the proceeding and basic due process."

NBC News first reported on Clifford's complaint against Trump.

Just weeks before the 2016 election, Cohen reportedly created a private LLC to pay off Clifford, The Wall Street Journal reported in January.

She's arguing that Trump didn't sign, so it's not valid. Which based on armchair-ignorant-lawyering suggests

3 possible outcomes

1 - Trump doesn't endorse, she can sell story to papers

2 - Trump does endorse, story for papers (less benefit to her?)

3 - Trump settles, more money for her

It’s a civil case, it won’t effect his presidency.

That's right Trump, just hand the Democrats the midterms, you're doing great, keep going...

The problem is his fans who will be screwed over by this move will vote for him anyway because even if they do lose their jobs it's somehow Obama's fault.
Seriously, if the Mid terms aren't the most historic landslide ever I think it's safe to just give up all hope that sanity will prevail in US politics.

What does Trump have to do to convince people he's totally gooseberry fool at the job?
