Yep. Saw an article yesterday stating the White House was actually pretty positive at the moment as this debacle has demonstrated that even full on collusion with the Russians will not move the GOP to act. The Trumps are the Bluths of the political world, but it's the Republicans who are the real strawberry floaters here, and they've shown just how far they're willing to sell their country down the river in order to stay in power.
It'll take something extraordinary (well more extraordinary than we've seen
) for the Republicans to act.
But all of this stuff is now public record and there are midterms next year. If all this can turn enough people against Trump/Republicans then the Democrats could take over both Houses and they can start impeachment.
It's possible that the Republicans might even do it themselves if the evidence keeps building and they start fearing that Trump will be bad for them.
Either way, nothing happens immediately, these things take time.
