Intentionally release something incredibly outlandish, ignore multiple requests to comment, and then deny it almost immediately once out in the public domain and scream FAKE NEWS.

There's so many shenanigans going on here it's ridiculous.

Let's see the usual suspects defend using 100,000 armed forces personnel to help deport people and struggle to try to make out that it's not like the Nazi's at all, no siree Bob.

I bet a guy at work a case of beer that Trump will not be president in 2019. Is that a good bet?

I don't know the exact composition of the houses at the moment. I'm sure it would be possible to run the maths on the Democrats getting enough new seats in two years to gain control and start impeachment (which would be easy if they were in a position to do it as there is no end of stuff to impeach him on). They wouldn't need a large majority or maybe even just a large minority as there will be plenty of Rs who want to save the legacy of their party/careers.

Ladbrokes' odds are 10-11 that he'll be gone before 2020, I think.

If they are illegal immigrants then they can't be criminals because the two crimes cancel each other out.

The UK doesn't deport illegal immigrants, we just make sure that the borders are left open so that they can leave whenever they want to.

It shows you his state of mind he feels the need to put 'Failing New York Times'. I mean that's literally nothing to do with anything.

So people defending Trump, is he still not a facist?

My faith in humanity has to believe that this man is on borrowed time. He's making too many enemies. If May surrenders to Trump she's insane too.

The list of fake news outlets grows. Won't be long until the only "journalists" we see at his press events are of the far-right lunatic variety - Alex Jones et al.

He's desperately trying to turn the American people against the media. He's at least succeeding with his hardcores, who must be so far gone it's ridiculous.

He will never unify America though, he's obviously just going to drive it further apart. How can you unify anything with this level of bollocks.

I want to know though, what is trumps end Game? What is he trying to do? He can only serve a max of 8 years as president so is that what's he's trying to do, just get elected again, by getting enough people to support him? He's also old so by the time he's had those 8 years he would be ready for the old people's home.

All he seems to have tried to do since becoming president is become popular. It's clearly not working but he's still trying. I don't think he's won any extra supporters, all he's probably done is turned off some people who voted for him in the first place. If there was a vote now then he would probably have less support that in November. Why not just get on with the job and worry about getting elected again in about three years time?

His goal is to enrich his family, utterly destroy his enemies (read: critics etc), boost his brand globally, and become a heavily mythologized American demi-god along the same lines as Washington, Lincoln, FDR, JFK, Reagan et al.
