Dinner with a maniac.

The memoirs of all these leaders that will have meetings, dinners and interactions with The Donald are going to be super hilarious.

Imagine trying to translate Trump's incoherence into another language. That's a thankless job.

Yeah that's what's happening here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-39573744

I honestly believe that this is more than likely something the two of them are using to stoke up drama in the media to deflect from alleged links. I suspect the alleged chemical attack was a convenient catalyst.

That, and Putin benefits far more from an adversarial relationship with the US than a friendly one. His approvals at home go way up and opposition support slips when he can paint the US as an evil imperialist power.

There have been a bunch of articles about how difficult it is to translate Trump.

Manafort registering with US as foreign agent

President Donald Trump's former campaign chairman is registering as a foreign agent.

Paul Manafort's spokesman says he was in talks with the government about registering before the 2016 election and is now "taking appropriate steps" in response to "formal guidance" from the government.

The spokesman says Manafort's lobbying work was not conducted on behalf of the Russian government and began before Manafort started working with the Trump campaign.

It's unclear whether Trump was aware that Manafort was in talks with the government about registering before he hired him.

Michael Flynn, who was fired as White House national security adviser in February, has also had to register as a foreign agent for lobbying work he did with ties to Turkey. [Trump claimed he was unaware of this]

Surely you have to be able to speak Trump first in order to be able to translate it, maybe that's why he set up Trump University a few years ago.

Russia saying today at the US/Russia press conference that they want an independent investigation into the chemical attack, while vetoing the UN resolution demanding cooperation from Assad for an independent investigation to take place

Some more police brutality caught on film:

Cop caught on video taking down, beating alleged jaywalker

SACRAMENTO -- A Sacramento police officer has been placed on administrative leave after throwing a pedestrian to the ground and striking him in the face multiple times in an incident captured on video, CBS San Francisco reports.

In a press release, the department said, “the videos of this incident portray actions and behavior that we would consider unacceptable conduct by a Sacramento police officer. As a result, the Department’s Internal Affairs Division is investigating the event.”

The incident happened at 5:07 p.m. Monday in the Del Paso Heights neighborhood of Sacramento.

Really lays into him.

Bill to go to the floor that enables churches in Alabama to have own police forces :

Alabama Senate votes to allow church to form police dept.
Apr 11, 2017 05:20 PM
MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - The Alabama Senate has voted to allow a church to form its own police force.

Lawmakers on Tuesday voted 24-4 to allow Briarwood Presbyterian Church in Birmingham to establish a law enforcement department.

The church says it needs its own police officers to keep its school as well as its more than 4,000 person congregation safe.

Critics of the bill argue that a police department that reports to church officials could be used to cover up crimes.

The state has given a few private universities the authority to have a police force, but never a church or non-school entity.

Police experts have said such a police department would be unprecedented in the U.S.

A similar bill is also scheduled to be debated in the House on Tuesday.

Could be fake news though right? :dread:

So now Trump is offering China a better trade deal in exchange for helping with North Korea.

He's also changed his mind and decided China aren't manipulating currency anymore.
