Interestingly the Trump/Russia story goes back to email conversations in 2015 where the Clinton campaign planned the narrative as part of their election campaign

If it is all fake then Trump really hasn't helped his own cause with all these meetings with Russians and constantly making stupid statements. Surely if it was all fake he should have just said nothing and let the story die on its own when people realised it was fake but Trump just loves the limelight and can't help himself.

The guys a liability and America will suffer under his leadership and his supporters will continue to back him no matter how bad it gets.
The super rich will get even richer and everyone else including 99% of his own supporters will get poorer and have much worse healthcare/ social safety nets and employment rights and again his supporters will cheer for him because somehow America can't afford any of that and those poor downtrodden billionaires need the money more than they need healthcare or employment rights.
Seriously, some republican voters seem determined to make the US into the ultimate land of haves and have not's and then claim the people who don't have anything are only in that situation due to sheer laziness despite them having 3 gooseberry fool paying jobs and kids to look after.

I just tried to reason with a few of them and got nowhere and finally decided to do something more productive like build a settlement in Fallout 4 settlement mode on PS4 which is rather enjoyable and doesn't make me want to kill myself.
