Another Russia connection coming to the fore. And this one involves the NRA. Please, please, please let that stick!

CBS News wrote:A new CBS News Sunday poll finds 71 percent of Alabama Republicans say the allegations against Roy Moore are false, and those who believe this also overwhelmingly believe Democrats and the media are behind those allegations.

The poll found 92 percent of Republicans who don't believe the allegations against Moore say the Democrats are behind the charges, and 88 percent say newspapers and the media are behind them.

Multiple women have come forward to accuse Moore of inappropriately pursuing or touching them when they were teenagers. The youngest woman to accuse Moore says she was 14 and he was 32 at the time.

The Senate contest looks to be highly dependent on turnout. Moore has a lead over Democrat Doug Jones, 49 percent to 43 percent, among the likely voters who are most apt to vote on Dec. 12. Among all registered voters, the contest is even. And nearly a quarter of voters still describe themselves as "maybe" or "probably" going to vote.

A majority of Alabama Republican voters (53 percent) say the allegations against Moore are a concern, but that other things matter more. One-third of Republicans say the allegations are not a concern to them.

I'm going to find it rather funny when all the rich people and corporations get all these huge tax cuts and then just keep the cash and give it to shareholders and paying the CEO's even more and don't hire any new people. It will be rather fun watching the republicans explain why they made the deficit balloon for seemingly no gain.

Pfft. You think they'll explain anything? They just won't ever bring it up again and bam! No one will ever notice. :fp:

That or they'll try and claim the tax cut wasn't big enough and try and go for even more.
I honestly think some Americans would be happy for companies and the ultra rich paying zero tax and that the nightmarish cyberpunk dystopian futures seen in things like Blade Runner where the rich have everything and the rest almost strawberry float all is a good thing.
Got to keep piling money on the ultra wealthy so they can throw a few pennies our way maybe, if we work hard enough.

I love the idea that Americans are fine with the idea that the people they elect spend at least 50% of the time in office fundraising and then even more time doing gooseberry fool like playing golf or watching the TV instead of doing the job they're paid for. I wish I could tell my boss I'd only be at work for about 40% of the time as I'm doing other stuff and that he better not complain or I'm going to quit.

Haven't you ever read Ayn Rand? All those super rich people are there purely because they are the geniuses of our society and without them we would all wither and die. It also makes sense for there to be zero regulation as we could finally return to the 1800's, which as I'm sure everyone knows was a workers utopia were people only worked for 2 hours a day 3 days a week in total safety. Then government regulations and unions were invented and now look where we are. :x

Yep, those Victorian workhouses were lovely and we should all try and get back to that halcyon way of life.

I have friends on Facebook that think Trump is doing a good job. It's all very disappointing.

Also, Syria and Greece don't share a border.
