She’s well into her pseudoscience as well, she’d probably give one of her quack guests a cabinet position.

But she'll give everyone at her inauguration a free car, so really it's swings and roundabouts.

Him being sworn in by Vince McMahon, with the inauguration broadcast exclusively via PPV, would be our first clue something was amiss.

I think i'd prefer a president who stops aggression with North Korea by winning a hell in the cell match against two of Kim Young Un's bodyguards only to be buried alive when Teresa May turns heel on him at the last moment.

I hope Trump savages Bannon to such an extent that he'll have little trouble turning state's evidence on the administration.

Boris Johnson is eligible so I say we somehow get him elected.

He just retweets whatever was on fox news that morning.

It's the USA equivalent of having your Granddad who gets all his news from the Daily Express in charge.

We should migrate GRcade to Flarum. :toot:

Yeah but in that example the Grandad can read more than 3 sentences before getting bored

TV news is much more popular than written content over there, so that's how it keeps his attention.

I love how his supporters can defend Trump for watching TV for the first couple of hours of a work day and claim that because the job is stressful it's fine. Doctors have an equally stressful job and they can't just sit about for hours watching TV or they'd be fired. I wish the US media weren't so polite to guests and call them on this crap sometimes.

Executive time is a laughable term for someone who's clearly not able to do a full days work at what is one of the most important jobs in the US.

Do they? I thought they just dismissed it as unverified fake news.

I mean it doesn't matter, because even if they viewed it as true they already ignored the factual record of his number of holidays/golf weekends.

I've seen a few interviews where the people asked about all say he should be allowed time off to watch tv or do what he likes as the job super stressful.
Plenty of people have super stressful jobs and work way longer hours without numerous golfing and other holidays at resorts they own so it's a pretty gooseberry fool excuse. It's just another example of his representatives being nothing but yesmen.

I watched that on my lunch break and I was surprised at how non-committal Colbert was. You'd think an anti-Trump comedian would jump all over this but our Stephen is clearer a sharper knife as it's quite obvious that some of the book (at least) has to be taken with a pinch of salt. Wolff didn't really come across that well in my opinion.

Some parts of the book give different incompatible versions of things that happened, so you can't really believe it all anyway.
