Did anyone hear Trumps speech to the UN yesterday. He has again threatened to wipe North Korea off the map. I wonder if he'll actually follow through with it?

Yet more of their bastardry, this time from June but still pertinent given the fact GoP continue to try pushing ACA repeal through. Here's why:

Koch network 'piggy banks' closed until Republicans pass health and tax reform

Koch officials said that the network’s midterm budget for policy and politics is between $300m and $400m, but donors are demanding legislative progress

Just been reading some of the Facebook comments on the new healthcare act the GOP are trying to pass. The saddest thing is that whenever someone from the UK or anywhere else chimes in asking why they don't adopt our system, they totally miss the point when they respond with "It's not free if your taxes pay for your healthcare!".

No, in a way it's not, but having a few hundred quid taken out of your salary a month to cover your healthcare, roads, and the rest is a darn sight better than paying thousands of dollars per month for health insurance.

One man should not have this much power in this game. Luckily I'm not an ordinary man.

McCain torpedoes Republican Obamacare repeal plan again

Senator John McCain has said he cannot support his fellow Republicans' latest effort to repeal Obamacare, dealing it a potentially fatal blow.

The Arizona senator, who is battling brain cancer, said he "cannot in good conscience" vote for the new plan, which President Donald Trump backs.

Mr McCain said it was wrong to pass such far-reaching legislation without input from the Democrats.

It is the second time he has thwarted his party leadership on the issue.

President Trump, speaking in Alabama late on Friday, condemned Republicans who did not back the new legislation, saying: "They don't have the guts to vote for it."

Republicans need 50 votes in a 100-seat chamber they control 52-48 to succeed.

With Democrats united in opposition, there is little margin for error.

Mr McCain's objection could doom conservatives' seven-year campaign to erase Democratic former President Barack Obama's signature legislative achievement.

McCain doesn't have the guts Trump has. McCain's been a soldier, but he hasn't used his father's inheritance to easily multiply "his" money like hard-man Trump has.

Nah McCain just used his father's status to keep flying even though he was a strawberry floating awful pilot who wouldn't have been anywhere near the planes otherwise.

Kushner used private email to conduct White House business
The senior adviser set up the account after the election. Other West Wing officials have also used private email accounts for official business.

Presidential son-in-law and senior adviser Jared Kushner has corresponded with other administration officials about White House matters through a private email account set up during the transition last December, part of a larger pattern of Trump administration aides using personal email accounts for government business.

Kushner uses his private account alongside his official White House email account, sometimes trading emails with senior White House officials, outside advisers and others about media coverage, event planning and other subjects, according to four people familiar with the correspondence. POLITICO has seen and verified about two dozen emails.

“Mr. Kushner uses his White House email address to conduct White House business,” Abbe Lowell, a lawyer for Kushner, said in a statement Sunday. “Fewer than 100 emails from January through August were either sent to or returned by Mr. Kushner to colleagues in the White House from his personal email account. These usually forwarded news articles or political commentary and most often occurred when someone initiated the exchange by sending an email to his personal rather than his White House address.”

Aides who have exchanged emails with Kushner on his private account since President Donald Trump took office in January include former chief of staff Reince Priebus, former chief strategist Steve Bannon, National Economic Council director Gary Cohn, and spokesman Josh Raffel, according to emails described to or shown to POLITICO. In some cases, those White House officials have emailed Kushner’s account first, said people familiar with the messages.

I bet Trump and the Republicans will do nothing about this.
