In a stunningly stupid move, police in Kentucky put Punisher skulls on their cars (they've been removed now):

GOP Rep. Mo Brooks says town hall protests may prevent Obamacare repeal

Republican Rep. Mo Brooks said Thursday that protests at town halls around the country might prevent Republican lawmakers from repealing the Affordable Care Act.
"I'll tell you, Toni, there are a, in my opinion, a significant number of congressmen who are being impacted by these kinds of protests and their spine is a little bit weak," the Alabama congressman said in an interview on "The Morning Show with Toni & Gary" on WBHP 800 Alabama radio. "And I don't know if we're going to be able to repeal Obamacare now because these folks who support Obamacare are very active, they're putting pressure on congressman and there's not a counter-effort to steal the spine of some of these congressmen in tossup districts around the country."

Brooks continued, "And you may not even see a vote to repeal Obamacare, you might see something where they call it a repeal but really it's an amendment. You and I have talked about this before. We need an outright repeal of Obamacare and then whatever's gonna come after it, fine, let's have that discussion. But this monstrosity needs to be repealed and right now, in my judgment, we don't have the votes in Congress to pass a repeal bill, in part because of what these people are doing."

Epic lulz if they end up not "repealing and replacing" Obamacare.

Caitlyn Jenner to Trump: 'This is a disaster'

Republican Caitlyn Jenner took to Twitter Thursday evening with a message to President Donald Trump: "Call me."
The Olympian-turned-reality star, who is perhaps the most high-profile face of the transgender community, at first was quiet after the Trump administration withdrew Obama-era guidance on transgender bathroom use in public schools.

But she broke her silence over 24 hours later in a tweet and video message.
Clad in a pink "pussy bow" blouse, Jenner spoke directly to the camera.
"I have a message for President Trump from well, one Republican to another. This is a disaster. And you can still fix it. You made a promise to protect the LGBTQ community," she said, holding up her hand like a mock telephone. "Call me."

After Trump became the presumptive GOP nominee in June, Jenner told STAT she believed he would be better for women than Hillary Clinton.
"Everybody looks at the Democrats as being better with these [LGBT] issues. But Trump seems to be very much for women. He seems very much behind the LGBT community because of what happened in North Carolina with the bathroom issue. He backed the LGBT community. But in Trump's case, there's a lot more unknowns. With Hillary, you pretty much know what you're gonna get with the LGBT community," Jenner said at the time.

The Punisher is a white comic book character who carries out extrajudicial killings on anyone he believes to be guilty of wrongdoing without trial. So... kind of appropriate actually. However, most police forces would agree that having a sign that seems to imply the threat of murder is not helpful in building a healthy relationship with the citizenry.

Who are the scumbags actually attending the briefings then? If they cared about press freedom they would be boycotting.

Any of the press invited with principles should stand up and walk out the minute he gets to the podium.

Trump's excelled himself with this move. Will Fox News have any balls to stand up to this flagrant attack on democracy?

Those damn protestors (or as some might like to call them "constituents"), trying to bully those fine upstanding congressmen from voting the way they're told to by the party. Not like this fine upstanding representative of the people who just wants to repeal that nasty old Obamacare, and THEN talk about what might replace it :fp: :fp: :fp:
