I want to know who's the one ordering a coke when everyone else has water. Is it Trump?

Trump's the sort of banana split that kicks off when he orders a Coke in a restaurant and they only have Pepsi.

First of all I'm a Pepsi Max boy. It's not the drink that makes me fatty.

Secondly he's my hero. Worst thing is when you go the the bar

Me: "Hi I'd like a Pepsi Max"
banana spliting Useless Barstaff "Sorry we've only got Coke" **Pours**

My brain: YOU BETTER BE SORRY! THEY'RE NOT THE SAME THING! WHY ASSUME I'LL ACCEPT THE STUPID COKE INSTEAD?!?!? STOP POURING AND DEMAND FORGIVENESS!!!1

In my experience, the actual locals want the bases. If they were just pulled out, the local economy would be absolutely decimated.

Its kind of the same with Trident in Scotland. The Government and the majority of the populace want it gone, but when it comes to crunch time and the job losses and damage to small local economies it is a different story.

Trump's Approval Rating Drops to New Low of 36%

President Donald Trump's job approval rating fell to 36% for the three-day period of March 24-26, following Republican House leaders' failed effort to pass a new healthcare bill that would have replaced the Affordable Care Act.

The biggest resentment towards overseas US bases seems to be in Okinawa. Although to be fair the US do occupy about half of the island.

This broke yesterday, but not sure it got posted.

Kushner met Russian bank executives in December.

Anything to back up either of those claims? Not baiting, genuinely interested to know.

By government, I assume he meant the Scottish government. Which is the SNP who are well known to oppose nuclear weapons.

The Scottish population is more split, it appears that 47.2% of Scottish people were opposed and 31.6% were in favour.

The argument appears to be the people who live around the bases appreciate them more than the general population.

When I lived in Nagasaki I heard that a lot of people who live near the US base there don't like it. It seems to be more that the US army personnel aren't subject to Japanese law that annoys people.
The family gets paid off and the soilder is moved elsewhere. I did notice the last one to get caught in Okinawa was just handed over to the Japanese government though.

Amusement under late capitalism is the prolongation of work.

I'm not sure at all about locals wanting army bases next to them. I know that in such areas fights are often rife between soldiers and the local guys on Friday/Saturday nights. Definitely wouldn't take it as written that the bases are popular.

Erm, they are investigating Russian ties with the election last year and further ties to the Trump team, WTF is Trump actually on about? He's read some crazy stuff again and gone out tweeting without using his tiny tiny brain to check if they are true, they guy is living in ground hog day, he seems to keep repeating bullshit and lies and then is all 'whatevs' when its proven not true.

As Stephen King said, he's a like a big baby.

EDIT: Sure enough if you google 'Hillary praised Russia' you get right wing conspiracy sites. :fp:

It's like Trump believes that if he is brought down then Hilary will be put in charge.
