I recognised them as words, but if there was any kind of coherent meaning to any of them I couldn't find it.

CNN wrote:Anti-Semitic incidents rose a whopping 86% in the first 3 months of 2017

In the first three months of this year, the number of anti-Semitic incidents in the US was 86% higher than the same period last year, says a new report.

The report, released Monday by Anti-Defamation League, counted 541 anti-Semitic attacks and threats between January and March.
There were 281 incidents in the same time period in 2016.

Overall, the picture was pretty grim last year too.
The ADL says anti-Semitic were up by more than a third last year, compared with 2015. And the numbers skyrocketed since November. There were 34 cases that were linked directly to last year's presidential election.

"There's been a significant, sustained increase in anti-Semitic activity since the start of 2016 and what's most concerning is the fact that the numbers have accelerated over the past five months," said Jonathan A. Greenblatt, the ADL's CEO.

"Clearly, we have work to do and need to bring more urgency to the fight. At ADL, we will use every resource available to put a stop to anti-Semitism. But we also need more leaders to speak out against this cancer of hate and more action at all levels to counter anti-Semitism."

I really don't understand where all this hatred of Jewish people has manifested itself from all of a sudden, and it's not just in America. I never knew there was such strong feeling towards them, and have never personally seen or experienced it anywhere in terms of language. Even in terms of politics (Labour) it's now become an ongoing issue.

Hate speech, of any sort, enboldens hate.

People who are ignorant, hatefilled wastes of skin on one topic, tend to be the same on lots of topics.

Validation of banana splits ("No you're not a racist prick. You're sincerely concerned!") tends to validate their other prejudices, not just the one you're pandering to

What issues do anti-semites actually have with Jewish people?
Islamophobes can at least scream about terrorism but what have the Jews supposedly done that makes them such a target?

They think that Jews control the world, the media and have all the money. Oh and they killed Jesus.

Batshit crazy, but racists generally are.

I suppose there's something ironic about the fact that the majority of Americans have adopted the Jewish ritual of circumcision.

It's almost unbelievable that the US has gone from having some of the best orators in history as Presidents to this guy.

I recently played Apollo 11 PSVR and some of the best sections are the Presidential speeches as even now they have vast impact but even if NASA managed to land on Mars in the next few years Trumps speech about the event would end up being terrible.

I often wonder if Americans really do want a situation where companies and the super rich pay zero tax in the blind belief that they will go out and spend the money on stuff they don't need and not just do what most would and stick the money in the bank.

They really have been sold on trickle down economics to a point where no matter how detrimental it is to the vast majority of Americans they back it anyway.

The trickle down effect is sort of real, it's just that they are pissing on the poor rather than giving them clean water.

I guess you can't help but appreciate the dedication involved in holding a grudge for 2000 years.

Though Jesus himself was Jewish so it's a bit contradictory to say you hate Jews and love Jesus.

It’s actually very simple. There was a Jewish man named Jesus who was put to death by the pagan Romans. The Romans then destroyed the Jewish temple and kicked them out of their homeland, forcing them to wander the Middle East and Europe. This was obviously entirely the fault of the Jews and so they were demonised for the next 2000 years. Part of the demonisation was to make sure they couldn’t do any respectable jobs and so some of them started money lending businesses, this meant that some of the Jews became wealthy which is obviously entirely the fault of the whole group. As time went on, Ken Livingstone said something about Hitler.

It all makes perfect sense.

Same here, I really don't understand why this is even a thing. It is like hate crimes committed against disabled people, it just doesn't make sense to me at all. I suppose from my personal experience with actual racist people, they usually aren't all there mentally so that would explain the irrationality of it all somewhat.

Trump's way with words is something else. I hope the translators have fun dealing with his sentence structure etc.

Does make you wonder is he all there in head? He's had his fair share of forgetful old man incidents. Could just be old age but equally I wouldn't be at all surprised if he has very early symptoms of something like dementia or similar.

It makes you wonder that, but as far as I know he has always spoken in the same way.

Reagan had dementia and ended up being proclaimed as a saint by most of the Republicans, I don't think that will stand in Trump's way, even if he has it.

MARS! We did it, people, I did it. You know, thank you thank you yes BUILD THAT ROCKET! You know, when I became President back in 2017, which was a great victory, tremendous and by the biggest margin by the way. The Democrats targeted the wrong states, but even with the Electoral College being so so in their favour, massively in their favour, they still couldn't figure out to target the right states. My campaign targeted the right states, the ones with all the legal voters in, which is why I managed to beat the crooked system and win by the biggest margin in US history, I believe. Anyway, when I won the election against Clinton, no no stop booing, she's a great lady, terrific, she'd have been fine as President. She just targeted the wrong states. But not me, not Donald, oh no I targeted the right states. I.. you know, I sometimes walk through the White House and I'm just amazed by all the paintings of former Presidents and I just can't wait to have my picture on the wall so that young Baron, Baron Trump, where are you Baron? Great kid, you know he uses computers? So when he's President after I die, he can look up and see his old dad on the wall in a painting. That'll be tremendous, so important. Anyway where was I? This telepromter is going to quickly, come on can you not all see this thing? So NASA, not to be confused with NAFTA, that bad bad trade deal, so bad but I'm keeping it anyway because to untangle that mess would take too long, but trust me it's really bad. You know that deal means we have to trade with Canada and Mexico at the same time? So bad! So NASA, under my instruction as President of this United States, has managed to put a man on the moo... err on Mars. Isn't that amazing. The guy is called Ron and he's... where are you Ron? Ron? I can't see with all the lights but he's in the crowd, RON?! Ok well I'm being told he's actually on Mars so can't be here tonight, but he's a great guy really just the brightest black guy you'll ever meet, way smarter than Obama, and he has the best most terrific STAMINA you'll ever see. I mean he flew to Mars so that's saying something. Anyway he landed on Mars and I spoke with him earlier and he's just doing great, they've given him an American flag, which it should be illegal to burn by the way, I'm speaking to the Senate about that next week, and he's going to plant the flag in the mud or the dirt or whatever they've got there on Mars, and it's just going to be terrific. Ok that's all from me, no questions. Goodnight.

7/10 - you missed out on top marks by forgetting that there are bound to be illegal Mexicans and Muslims sneaking onto the flight to Mars and so he will need to build a big beautiful wall between Phobos and Deimos to help keep them out.
