BLM was never about "black live matter more", it was dealing with a specific problem in America where black people get shot in disproportionate numbers.
ALM is the response to that. It is taking away the point of black people being murdered by the police by saying that there is no problem and all lives are equal. Of course all lives are equal, the point of BLM is that a lot of police do not seem to think that.
It's like if you were talking about the holocaust and somebody said "lots of innocent German's died!". Well, yeah, sure, but that's not the issue that was being raised is it?
I am sure some people say "all lives matter" and mean it in an innocent way. Usually though, it comes from the far right and is therefore tainted by the racists.
