I think just about everyone already thinks that.

If he manages to go without starting a war by the time he's done/impeached I'd say that's a major accomplishment that not many modern presidents have.

Trump would probably see it as a failure.

Maybe he wants to be impeached. Presidents have left office peacefully, resigned, died of natural causes in office and been assassinated.

But nobody has ever been successfully impeached, Trump might like the idea. Firstly he can spend the rest of his life telling everyone how unfair it was and how it was a wicked leftist plot against him. Secondly he would then be remembered throughout history as the first President to be impeached. Thirdly he could get out of the White House and away from this job he hates.

I don't think he's that smart, and I'm not sure he it's that smart anyway. An impeached president is fairly likely to become an imprisoned president.

I still think he won't get the chance, I think there's a high chance he is shot.

I can't believe they still allow this man to have a Twitter account. The president of strawberry floating America. Who can't go a day without putting his foot in it.

What a world.

Well I guess it would mean that his base supporters can still claim that it was just a big conspiracy against him.

At any rate as it stands now, I think he's far from the worst president considering some of the other gooseberry fool the others have done.

I honestly think he never wanted to or genuinely thought he'd become President, so he's just doing the most appalling stuff to see how far he can take it before everyone collectively snaps, then he can come out with "just how dumb is everyone anyway? SAD!".

Also wouldn't surprise me if it's being done on a bet for a dollar.

That's the perfect way to describe it.

I am not sure there is any answer other than he is either deliberately trolling the presidency. He’s literally telling people that confederate generals have “beautiful” statues, that we should lace bullets with pigs blood and that being anti-Nazi is as bad as being a Nazi.

Has anybody checked his fathers will? Maybe there was a Brewster’s Millions clause in it that he only gets the money if he manages to become the worst President of all time?

I'm genuinely surprised there hasn't been an attempt on his life yet. Which is an absurd statement to make when talking about the US president in the 21st century.

He won't be assassinated, the laws of the universe require at least 2 more Democrat presidents get whacked before the next Republican one.

I think what he is suggesting is worse than just lacing bullets with pigs blood. He is basically calling for drumhead trials, massacres of potentially innocent people without due process. Utterly repugnant.

It feels like he is almost doing anything he can to get impeached at this point.

I still maintain both were absolutely hideous choices, I honestly couldn't vote for either as they are so opposed to where I stand politically. But no I don't think Hillary would have been calling for summary executions so that is something pretty significant in her favour to say the least!

This is false equivalency, and you are a bad person.

Clinton only becomes a bad choice if there is somebody better on the ballot. When up against Trump she became the very best candidate that they could have possibly had and not voting would make you as culpable as those that actually voted for the orange turd.

Obviously our politics are different, but I intensely dislike Jeremy Corbyn and yet voted for the party he leads because I believe he would be better for the country than the alternative. Sure I would rather Labour found somebody better (really though I wish the Lib Dems were still a serious choice), but the choice wasn’t there and so I voted for the least worst option to try and keep out the really hideous one.

It’s sad (SAD!) that politics has come to voting against the ones you hate, rather than for ones you actually like, but you have to hold you nose and do it sometimes.

Gary Johnson was on the ballot. He would have been a better choice ;)
