Basically the US has been sitting on the fence (on this issue) between the Palestinians and Israelis as they try (fruitlessly) work out the issue - or exist in a mutually agreed detente over schroedinger captial..

Trump's now coming down firmly on one side.

But the repercussions of endorsing a Jewish claim to the holy city will extend to Arab/Muslim groups beyond Palestine.

It's not "constructive" to the peace process in any way.

Here's hoping and praying that we get Jerusalem declared as the capital, and slowly islam dies a death in the middle east. Feel bad for the palestinians, but Israel prevailing over islam is the lesser of two evils.

We need the world to move on from just appeasing islam, and giving in to their demands. The followers of islam in all islamic nations overwhelmingly support the idea of destruction of everything non islamic. Why should anyone extend kindness to such an evil ideology? To claim being peaceful and being muslim is an oxymoron.

Followers of islam who take up arms against non muslims or spout rhetoric or even vote in pew polls in support of gay killings and killing non muslims, those are the people who deserve a bullet and why we have an army. Those who do not support islamic teachings such as being able to strawberry float kids because mohammad did, being able to kill non muslims, being about peace only, these are not muslims according to the quran and trying to pretend they are muslims does more harm than good.
