Hi guys

Anyone with any graphics skillzzzz, could you help me out?

We're working with a small company called "Pen Island" and they've asked us to setup a brochure for them. However they haven't supplied a logo, and I can't track one down for them.

Anyone fancy helping out?

Cheers

Stu

They are a pen company based on a island.

Most of the pens are made of wood

I'd make you a logo but I'm afraid I might cock it up.

I would loan my graphics skills but I fear the process could end up quite long and hard.

Should anyone really be branding a company to fulfil a brochure commission?

If they don't have a logo, that's their own problem. Use some stock imagery and text, or whatever. If they expect you to just pull a logo out your arse, subcontract someone, double their fee and charge for it.

This.

Also if they want a logo from us they can pay for it or get a comic sans special.

strawberry floating people wanting graphic free is one of the reasons I quit freelancing. Every banana split thinks they're a designer, nobody wants to pay for decent work.
