I wouldn't trust Capcom to make anything to get excited about in this day and age. Apart from the Street Fighter team, they are making so many bad decisions.

I'm still looking forward to Okamiden.

It really didn't 'ruin' the SP at all. Occasional glitches, like AI Sheva always standing too close to you, getting in the way and not being imaginative enough about her weapon selection are all minor quibbles set against the obvious benefit of having a constant AI buddy along for the ride to help even the odds (give Sheva just a sniper rifle and a handgun, take just a machine gun and shotty for yourself, concentrate on upgrading just those four constant weapons, and watch how it all plays out).

If you give Sheva a sniper rifle and a handgun she will only use the handgun until she runs out of bullets (Give her a Stun Rod and her A.I. entirely breaks down) unless moved to "Attack" mode. When in "Attack" mode she no longer stands next to you, but runs off with whatever the most powerful weapon she has is. On anything other than Normal or Easy, she'll normally run off into enemies, get hurt, waste heal on just herself, then die. That's more than a minor quibble.

Nope. In my experience, based on many hours of replaying various levels, she'll more often than not use the appropriate weapon (of the two) for any given situation. Many's the time she'll scamper off to a good vantage point to take out enemies from a distance with the sniper rifle, providing me with cover as I take down enemies close-combat with the shotty. I find it works really well. I've made efforts to concentrate on upgrading the same four weapons. Sheva's sniper rifle, by now, is absolutely unstoppable (and my shotgun is not too far behind).

Depends if you set her to attack or cover. If you set her to attack she will go nuts and piss bullets away for the better weapon, a permanent "get behind me bitch." ethic will mean she will stick to the handgun and not be a complete arse.

Nah. Don't think I could get used to flick screens and tank like controls. Best left in the past. RE2 in the over the shoulder cam type stylee would be interesting though.

I've never seen her do that in any of my play throughs, and even the game says that she shouldn't. I heard they had tweaked some of the SP mechanics whenever they put out the DLC so they might have upgraded her A.I. when doing that, but when in cover mode she is always supposed to stick to her "weakest" weapon to conserve ammo (which is why her A.I. completely breaks if you give her the Stun Rod) and in Attack mode she goes out looking for enemies and weapons/items and just runs off with no real care for the player too. I wasn't even aware they had programmed her with the ability to find vantage points, so you wouldn't happen to mean during the set peices when she heads off to do something hardcoded into her?

This.

Plus what someone said about having a seperate story for Co-op. Because I have no friends and don't want to look after an AI partner.

And I want to play as Leon again.

In fact just remake Resident Evil 4, but in a city. And with zombies instead of exploding-head spanish people.

Left for Dead?

3rd person, decent storyline and not multi player.

Fabian Delph is a banana split.

Unfortunately though, urban zombie killing is basically owned by L4D now. Capcom will have its work cut out if it wants to match the quality of Valve's output and, to be perfectly honest, I don't think Capcom has enough talent to pull it off at this point.

Aye, take Resi 5's ending as an example:

Chris was clearly gearing up for an epic threesome with Sheva and Jill, right there in the helicopter.
