How on earth is Outbreak a fantastic IP? The games have a poor reputation and are regarded as some of the weakest entries in the series.

I took it to mean that with the online infrastructure in place on consoles today, an Outbreak style game could be amazing if done right.

I can't comment on the quality of the original Outbreak games though, I never played them because we didn't have our PS2 connected online. I'd love to get a chance to play a similar type game on PS3 though.

The idea is good but you wouldn't want to lumber it with the Outbreak name. Then again EA are bringing back FIFA Street even though previous titles with that name have been poor so who knows how publishers think.

I'm surprised no has posted about the demo coming in July;

Capcom has announced the release date for Dragon's Dogma. The game will be headed to stores in North America on May 22nd and in Europe on May 25th.

Customers who purchase the game will also receive early access to a playable demo of Resident Evil 6 over four months ahead of its November 20th release date.

According to Capcom, "Purchasers of the Xbox 360 version of Dragon's Dogma will be able to redeem a token and download the Resident Evil 6 demo globally on the Xbox Live Marketplace for Xbox 360 sixty days earlier than any other platform starting on July 3rd. The demo for owners of the PlayStation 3 system version of Dragon's Dogma will go live on the PlayStation Store on September 4th in North America and Japan and September 5th in Europe."

Capcom also revealed the pre-order incentives for the game. Customers who pre-order from GameStop will receive the Pawn Upgrade Pack with "additional Rift Crystals allowing them to rent higher level experience Pawns from the outset." Those who pre-order from Best Buy get an Armor Upgrade Pack, and Amazon customers will receive a Weapon Upgrade Pack.

Who's going to say it's ruined forever? I remember one of the main complaints of 5 being that you couldn't shoot and move.

May even make a profit. Not likely, because you'll lose the 10% eBay sellers fee, but it's still a pretty cheap way of doing it.

I dont expect a scary resident evil now so if it's not AGAIN then i wont be shocked but will still enjoy it for what it is.

Revelations is so atmospheric, it's strawberry floating great. Anung, you owe yourself a 3DS for that game, seriously. It's bloody brilliant.

Seeing as you can move and aim at the same time in the two 3DS games it's no surprise that they're adding it to Resi 6. Which is good. Standing still in Resi 4 still feels fine but for some reason in Resi 5 it just felt horrible.
