Nope. Nope nope nope.

That was very different (and scary). Not sure I'm up for a full game of it (never played similar first person horror) - not cus I'm scared but for a variety of manly reasons.. But interesting, and for a small package well doen. Still usinng VHS in 2017 (based on date) though?

Don't think it help at the tense bit (post key) a chum popped on on PSN messages (with a big chime) going "Hello! Whatcha doing!?!?!". :(

I like it, it's tense and has made me jump :slol:

I never did get round to playing PT so I will have to give that a go soon but I want to go through this a few more times.....still not ventured upstairs yet :shifty:

Any news on what the story is with this? I know it's set after 6 (which I never played yet) but has it got links to Umbrella etc..?

Why would you? There's clearly a horde of serial killers up there.

This type of thing in VR is far too scary for me :dread:

I'll be content just living out my dream of Star Trek bridge commanding ;)

It was OK. Kind of spoilt by UC4 for character models though. Building graphics was nice though.

Yes?

I think I like the first person switch, but would've liked to see at least a little gun play. Maybe just that section didn't have any?

I didn't think much of the demo, short and felt like a lot of idea's came from Silent Hills demo yet looked worse.

Liked the idea with the manikins though

Pretty uneventful demo. Could easily be a new ip but maybe they know it will sell better with the resident evil name attached to it.

I don't think I could play a more intense version of the demo though, that was stressful enough even for a very short taste.

Rapidly-greying is Mediocre to Average at games :fp:

Nope. Wussed out about 15 mins in once I got the key. First person mode had me on edge the whole time. Fair play to anyone who plays the full game. Not me

Runs away..... :shifty:

That said, while it felt like PT, it felt like a PT made by people without the skill and craftsmanship of those behind PT. Whereas that was genuinely bone chilling to play and I couldn't get through it on my own, this is just unsettling.

Very intrigued to see them shake up the RE franchise though.

Exactly how I felt. PT would have given me 10 strokes if I played that in VR, this didn't quite have that finesse. Still, very interested in play this after the demo.

Then you should listen to the GR Post Mortem of the Sony conference.

When it gets posted :shifty:

Just played this.

Playing at gone midnight in pitch black is either a great experience or a absolutely horrific one, depending on your disposition.

Mine was the latter.
