Beat Jack, phew that was bloody tough, does it get tougher later on?

Yes and no, I found the bosses relatively hard but regular enemies are stupid and once you have the better weapons things become easier overall... speaking of which you aren't far from the second handgun.

Nice, is it part of the story or is it missable?

The game is very tense, I'm constantly waiting for something to jump out

The second tier guns are both missable but you have a long way until the point of no return.

EDIT: In fact I suppose all the weapons are missable really if you simply don't pick them up when you have the chance.

I think he's one of the hardest parts in the game.

I'm pretty sure I beat every other boss first try bar him.

And finished..... In one day and one evening. Glad I pushed through the scary opening as it's got some sollid action throughout.

It loses its way towards the end as it feels like it's channeling a previous resident evil.

It's a good game and it kept me interested. Nice nods to classic horror and some good puzzles too. Looking forward to the free DLC.

If only they included Mercenaries

Wish my image sig would work

I finished this in two hungover afternoons/evenings. If we are counting deaths and reloading when I messed up I'd say 15-20 hours, without counting that about 10 but I missed a heck of a lot on my first run through the game.

I think about 9 hours. From start to finish. I didn't use a guide but felt I was close to with a puzzle involving a cake. Very good puzzle it was too.

I got 14 of 18 coins. Will get back into it again next week.

The bosses were the highlight for me. Excellently done apart from the last one which is easily in the top 5 worst resident evil bosses of all time.

Also the first melee weapon should be the default weapon. It felt so good to use.

I picked this up the other day. Currently not too far but I've played for 3 hours....taking it slowly seemingly.

I'm in the dissection room trying to kill Jack but I cannot beat the strawberry floater. I've only got 2 first aid sprays, and I am trying not to waste ammo on him before the chainsaw is available.

I did it, it took me a good few goes. I eventually found another first aid spray in the corner of the room. I then figured out you could parry with the chainsaw and to duck when he did an overhead attack....even after all this though it still took me another 3 or 4 attempts. Rock solid boss....now im getting attacked by wasps.

Meh jack was easy. Just use the sacks and hide behind the pillar. Duck and parry :toot:

I think that boss fight is bugged, I kept dying, then done it in about 1 minute on my 5th go....

What a game though, 4K'ing when I have X1X and 4KTV as its getting upgraded.

I know it doesn't belong here, but I think it's funny knifing a zombie thing in the butt to death.
