Played it. Babbed my pants several times. Got the back door key. Almost actually pissed my pants when the mannequin fell over.
Died at the door. Looks very promising. Will almost certainly buy this. Will almost certainly not complete it. Will definitely not complete it (or play it at all) in VR.
Far too fat for that level of shock and horror.

Thought this wasn't supposed to have any first person? Confused.

Full game? Thought that was just for demos. Hope it is as the demo is terrifying in first person.

Why would it be just for the demos? The full game is going to be like it

As far as I was aware the entire game is first person view only with no third person option.

Never played it but reminds me of a less 'night visioned' Outlast.

I'm so chuffed with what capcom are doing here. It's looking really refreshing and I can't wait to see how it fits into the resident evil universe.

And it does look genuinely scary, the demo was freaky enough.

As for the motion sickness comments, I don't need a first person game to be going fast for it to affect me to be honest. Metroid prime wasn't exactly fast paced but I needed a basin alongside me while I was playing it.

Rapidly-greying is Mediocre to Average at games :fp:

I think the issue is to do with FOV. Source Engine games are notorious for it, objects around the edge of the screen appear warped. Couple this with motion and you've got sick bucket material.

I'm so glad this is giving me something concrete to look forward to into next year. Looking better and better.

I am concerned at the flame-guy shrugging of those pistol shots, but I'll put that down to poor aiming by the player and also, I guess that's what shotguns are made for.

Why are you concerned by that? Resident Evil has always had enemies that shrug off pistol shots, he's probably a zombie or infected with a parasite or something.

I think he mean there's no reaction from being shot... even the zombies "shudder" while being shot.

Yes, that's what I meant - there was no visible reaction at all. Maybe the scene was pre-scripted and he has to get you there no matter what you do? Either way, perhaps 'concerned' was too strong...

I must have watched that new vid about 20 times now.
