I'm with you. Don't get me wrong, I loved the game on release, but we've moved on somewhat. I didn't really enjoy the Re-make on the GC, sure, it looked good and all, but it had the same old clunky gameplay.

Photek almost sold me on it as well. When people say remake I expect something similar to the Gamecube version of Metal Gear Solid.

Fair enough. I guess it depends how archaic the controls are in the first place though. Say an HD GOW is OK as it still works well, but something like RE needs an over haul, lets say with the implementation of RE4 controls.

The remake will have a choice of controller options.

But a "proper" 3rd person control scheme wouldn't work if the camera angles remain the same, surely.....

I think they said the controls will be re4 style of turning at least, ie you have a much tighter turning circle. Nothing wrong with that.

Yeah, I think you can choose classic controls or new controls.

Only people who are gooseberry fool at it moan about the controls. They work fine for me. They don't cause insta deaths and work perfectly,fine with analogue sticks too.

Some of those requirements are insane. That's going to be one genuinely difficult game to fully complete.
