Actually they are calling it a Remaster rather than a Remake.

If you are a fan of the original I don't see the problem with this, looks like there is slightly more to it than a 'photoshop filter', you can play in 16:9 and change the control style if you want to.

Okay, that makes me a bit hyped again.

Backgrounds look really nice in the comparisons, but rough in the direct feed shots. Kinda odd. Still, will be a much nicer experience than playing on the GC so I can't wait.

Anyone who complains about the wide screen solution as being lazy should be banned.
