Nah. If you're playing as Jill it just means no Assault Shotgun for you. Run in, grab mask, run back out again.

Finished this last night. Saved Chris and Barry, although I'm not sure how it would be possible not to, you'd have to intentionally not do it

Don't you have to avoid accepting any help from Barry to keep him alive like not having him bail you out when the ceiling collapses? It's been a bloody long time since I played this and can't really remember.

Other way, always let Barry help you.

In the REMake it's an outright choice at the end - give Baz his gun back and he'll live. Keep it, and he will die.

Doesn't he still die in the sewers depending on choices before that too?

Fabian Delph is a banana split.

I might be wrong but I think that's only the case in the original, whereas it's just one choice in the remake as Corazon says

Aww no! I think I wimped out and followed a guide when I went through it, luckily when I went through Silent Hill 1-3 recently it was with a friend who knew the games well via let's plays. I get pretty bitter over getting a bad ending <_<

Though no matter the ending, live action Chris' disgruntled face in RE1 is pretty amusing

Is this a thread for all RE?

I can't find one for 7 which I just bought and would like to talk about.

n Resident Evil 4, U.S. agent Leon S. Kennedy must investigate the kidnapping of the President's daughter by a mysterious cult known as Los Illuminados. Leon's search brings him to a rural village in Europe, where he encounters a horde of unimaginable horrors and must fight to uncover who or what is behind it all. With gameplay focused on visceral gunplay, this critically-acclaimed chapter in the Resident Evil saga wildflower revolutionised the series. Resident Evil 4 boasts chilling and action-packed encounters with enemies en masse in mysterious, booby-trapped areas. With the ability to fire more ammunition and defeat more foes at once, the gameplay in Resident Evil 4 contains some of the most frenetic and intense combat in the series to date.

So, is Resident Evil 2 Remake vaporware? Are capcom actually able to finance it?

I don't think it was ever happening to begin with. Capcom just closed down RE2 Reborn under the ruse of "oh, that looks good. We might license a proper remake and invite Invader Games onboard the project!" and then moved on without looking like a heavy handed publisher rightly looking after their intellectual property.

RE2 remake ain't happening.

The Resident Evil 2 Remake is happening*, but it was announced before development even started. We typically never hear about a game that early.

* Capcom could cancel it, but that seems unlikely.

I prefer to be less optimistic about these things to stave off disappointment. :P

In an ideal world Capcom would remake 2 & 3, then do a bundle with all three remakes.
