The last action - the fuse- is a bit of a purposeful troll I find.

You go to that corridor fully tooled up for a fight, expecting to fight a boss so you fill up your inventory with as many guns and herbs as you can... then the game reminds you that youve forgotten the basics right at the end, and haven't managed your inventory properly- now you have to waste a herb as a lesson in order to pick it up

I agree, it is my fault. I didn't enjoy it on the GC, but that was a long time ago so couldn't rememeber everything I didn't like about it. Within a couple of minutes of playing this I could remember though.

The thing is though, I'm not really enjoying the game and people adding their explanations and excuses for it doesn't change my level of enjoyment. I will no doubt play through it though, mainly because thanks to the wonders of electronic purchases I either complete it to get some value out of it or just write off £15.

A fair point, as I said it's not for everyone- and I can totally see why, Ive just read a lot of posts across various places of people moaning this isn't what they thought it was, and a "proper" HD remake with the game significantly changed- I just wonder why people buy things without knowing what it is first!

You bought it to try again to see if your tastes had changed- nothing wrong with that!!

Maybe knock it down in difficulty to see if you enjoy it more?

I think it's more to make sure you have an inventory space for the flares and then the rocket launcher.

They're both one and the same I think, one goes hand in hand with the other!

I'll finish this with Jill and Chris but ill never do a speed run, not least cos when I'm running about in areas that I KNOW dont have any zombies I still scare myself into thinking im gonna run around the corner and get mauled by the undead. :slol:

Yesterday at like 3 o'clock in the day my daughter poked me in the arm to ask me something and I nearly jumped out of my skin. :oops:

I was playing this last night in Lisa Trevor's shack and my brother was sitting next to me playing with his phone. Some music came blaring out of it for a second and I legit let out a small scream of terror. I'll probably never be allowed to forget that.

5hrs 47mins 32 secs on my first run. 0 deaths too :datass:

Hopefully next run will be a sub-3hr run with 0 saves to boot.
