Wanted to share this map of the overworld I've put together, I tried to capture that old gaming mag kind of feel that some of you might appreciate!

Another Mario Maker challenge would be fun. Need to make Home Alone 3 into a Mario level, after all.

Great map! When playing it all felt bigger than what that shows - a sign of good design I think!

Oh and I think it's probably too late to try an squeeze a Chrimbo AYAMMM in at this point sadly :cry:

It's very exciting! The competition is also very tough, Direct Drive is basically an album of fully original songs sung by professional singers.

I'm hoping for some more nominations still to come. One of the awards is for games made using Pulp specifically, so that's the one I'm most hopeful about, but no guarantees of course!

Just finished this, thought it was genuinely great. Characters and tone was charming and the adventure was really lean and elegant? Like just the right amount of gameplay machinery, used really well, with dungeons and puzzles that I found really satisfying and concise (no flabby filler). Also some bosses were legit exciting and not easy!

I'd probably say second dungeon was my favourite because of how fun a Dungeon/Overworld hybrid it was, but unsure because really liked some of the later puzzles, too.

Enjoyed this more than a lot of the supposedly acclaimed stuff I played in the last 12 months.

It's picked up six nominations so far, with more categories still to be announced. Really building my anticipation for the actual awards show! I think that's happening at the start of next month.

Deserves all the accolades.

Might do another playthrough toward the end of the year. I genuinely think about what a lovely experience it was very often!

Edit: is the award show streamed? Might do a Resonant Tale fanclub restream of it haha.

Last year it was a youtube live stream. I think it's going to be pre-recorded this year but still streamed on release. Will let you know when they actually announce the format as they haven't yet!
