Got right to the end of sonic 3&knuckles and now my adult eyes see it for what it is, the start of rubbish sanic. Up until sandopolis act 2, the game is fantastic, then it just suddenly becomes a never ending stream of traps and instant death blind drops. strawberry floating awful way to end the game.

Wrong, Sonic 3 and Knuckles is the pinnacle of the series.

No bother.

It bums me out that we will probably never see a good Tony hawk style skating game again. Messing about with the first one and it's so addictive. All they had to do with 5 was keep it simple but they cocked it up.

I just watched the second part of DF's look at the 32X and it is excellent. Sure, the games seem - perhaps more than - a bit clunky nowdays, but they were great first experiments with 3D, textures, polygons and FMV. The dual processing of the Mega Drive and the 32X is pretty unique, too, and the video shares many cool slices of info.

Also... it's exciting to hear that DF will be taking a look at all of the console versions of Doom in September :toot: .

I've been playing the GBA version of THPS 2 recently. I'm still amazed they made such a good version for a handheld. There are occasional issues with perspective when going for tricks/items, but it's not too frustrating. The only other issue is getting used to using shoulder buttons for grabs and flips rather than face buttons, not sure why they did that. I may have to scour second hand shops for a copy of the PS2 version, from this and a quick dabble on HD I've got the bug again!
