I'm not a mint condition freak or anything but there's a small crack in the top corner, so I'd suggest just getting a new case rather than faffing around with alcohol/meths. Cleaning it up might just make that small imperfection you can't change show up more.

I had noticed that, I figured at some point id look at one of my other PS1 games see if I have a perfect case on a football game or something so I can do a swap... the stickers unfortunatly are on the paper not the case though.

Ah, okay, I misunderstood.

If you are not especially interested in the Crystal Chronicles package.. I may consider it, as it is one of the "bits of cardboard" my brother threw away.

Ad7 is pulling your leg, Doom... "How much is the box?" is a bit of an old meme here in GRcade; it gets posted whenever anyone posts anything in a box :-). Another popular one is "Look at the state of...(whatever has been posted in the photo)".

Yep, storage can sure be issue when gaming stuff starts piling up!

We're rushing into another weekend... and I have a feeling that some of you are planning to photograph things and paste them up on the internet for other people to look at :toot: .

So, yeah, lets get retro! Please remember that, as ever, your gear doesn't have to be in pristine condition nor ultra-valuable... we're going to enjoy viewing your small number of original Xbox titles just as much as your unopened cases of NES Stadium Events :) .

Okay... lets get this Weekender rollin'!

I'm continuing my original Xbox theme from last week by taking a look at the magnificent Controller S. It just felt really comfortable and I loved the SNES-styled coloured buttons.

Image

My first Xbox console was the lovely translucent green version and the controller looked so swish. The green is lush and the coloured buttons glow like iridescent pearls!

Image

Oh, boy... now we're juggling the translucent green and crystal versions! Which one is your favourite?

Image

A few years ago I was looking out for new controllers and I was fortunate to obtain these three sealed black ones. I will keep them in case my current controllers fail at any time!

Image

...and I was so delighted to get this sealed Crystal version. The sheen of the translucent Crystal, adorned with the colourful buttons, remains a treat to view! Whilst the black and green controller versions have the familiar Xbox logo / name black disc, the Crystal version has a simple Xbox name on a silver disc and I like the style of it.

I hope you enjoyed looking over the Controller S. Why not consider posting something from your own gaming collection this weekend? Go for it!

kerr, I have to ask... where do you get your retro games from? Do you spend a lot of time trawling charity shops over a wide area? Considering some of the stuff you find and the prices you pay for it, I find it hard to believe that you just nip into town and check a couple of shops.

I live in a little town with like 5 charity shops and then I work 7 miles away in a bigger place with a bunch of pawn stores and various other places I check... I work usually very early in the morning and I tend to pop in a lot of places on the way home, basically on my path from work to home even if I don't go out of my way I will pass like two pawn stores, a branch of Game and 3 charity shops and I always pop in them. Then sometimes if I am not working I go to this place where there is like 7 charity shops on one road. The above stuff was all from one pawn store, Its actually not one of the ones on my direct path, I had a little wander after work, but I have to admit the sad fact I have been in there enough for the manager to know me well enough that he will show me stuff before its even hit the shelves and will knock me a bit of money off the labeled prices of things from time to time.

You picked up some nice stuff there, kerr. It's always good to have a copy of Spider-Man 2 and those chunky N64 carts never go out of fashion :-).

Fair play to you, kerr - you certainly put the time and effort in, and you get a lot of good stuff for your money.

Do you generally buy stuff for yourself to play, or as part of your collection? And do you only ever purchase things you don't already own - you might be able to turn a profit in The Trading Post with some of your finds.

Got nothing to add this weekend. :(

With birthdays, Halloween and Christmas around the corner I've put any games buying on hold.

Some of what I buy is to play and some is to collect. If I see something good and cheap I'll grab it even if I own it. I'm not much of a seller, I do trade things with people at times.

I completely forgot about this  :fp:
I’ll have to jump in. I’ve been playing a lot of N64 recently and I have a fair few games on my hit list that I’m after too.
I’m an import enthusiast so you’ll be seeing nothing but imports from me in here.
