R/C Stunt Copter? I just checked the manual to remind myself. It could be played with the digital controller, but the manual acknowledges that it's tough, and analogue is the way to go.

Kicking things off with my latest purchases(that I still have to pay Bunni for)...



Good condition carts of Krusty's Super Fun House and the mighty Earthworm Jim, and a great condition box of the pretty rare ISS 2000 on N64! There's a small scuff on the front but otherwise it's all gravy.

Very nice, Cora! ISS 2000 is pretty uncommon and, alongside the classic fast-paced footy action, it delivers a "player story" mode that could be classed as a fore-runner to the current popular story mode in FIFA! I was fortunate to get a copy around the time of release, when the N64 was starting to fade away and bargains could be found.

Two cool SNES carts, too... thanks for sharing, dude!

PS photo needs more Loki, though .

I'll try and get him next time - he's a minor celebrity now, he'll be in Chat magazine next week, so he doesn't have time for his old friends anymore

Kaizou Choujin Shubibinman Zero is a brand new physical release of Shockman Zero that was only ever available on the Sattellaview. It's a Mega Man style game and it's really good

It's neat that some old, difficult-to-play titles are still now becoming more easily accessible! I'm not knowledgeable about Sattellaview titles but it's cool that you can play them .

If memory serves the series is all named after Queen songs with Lordly Caliber being the exception.

EDIT: Turns out there were only a couple of entries named after Queen songs.

Yeah the first 2 entries in the series (Let Us Cling Together and March of the Black Queen) were named after Queen songs as is Ogre Battle itself.

Ok, as promised ages ago, here's a quick photo of my N64 collection to date (minus Goldeneye which is in the post).

All games are mint, boxed and complete...It's cost me a small fortune, but I think it's a nice little collection

There's one game in there (hint - the game is not rare, but the version I have is), which I know Jawa will particularly appreciate...

Ah, yes, I can see - I spent a while trying to obtain a copy of it, too! It really is quite hard to come by considering how common the "standard" version is. The re-release as part of the Players Choice (silver) range is easy enough to find, but, yeah... the version of StarFox in the normal-sized black box is tough to locate .

And so we're at the three-month mark for the Retro Club Weekender! Things have quitened down since the start but we have been treated to some excellent items over the weeks. I have tended towards commenting rather than posting, but I hope to drag a few bits out of the cupboard at some stage. Thanks to everyone who has taken part .

Lovely collection of 64 boxes there Andy. Small box Lylat Wars as well! It's a bit odd that the design rules seemed to relax the black border for later game boxes, the Banjo Tooie one always looks a bit weird to me, but I love the MM one.
Think I prefer cardboard boxes to plastic ones from a design and aesthetic view. They're just a bastard to maintain when you're a kid!

Yeah, the cardboard boxes were soon damaged by heavy-handed folk. I often used to keep my carts outside of the boxes rather than regularly opening and closing them. Of course, it helped that I rarely played the games much even in those days .

That's a fine looking N64 collection you've got there Andy.

Hexen arrived yesterday, which means I'm only now missing one N64 FPS - I'll post a pic later and you can try and guess which one I don't have...
