Retro Gamer is the best gaming magazine going and it has the awards to prove it. I think because of the magazines direction you get no bullshit, no sucking up, no selling out. The only thing different since the original publisher was sold is that they don't give away emulators now but you can get legal spectrum emulators and such anyway. Also it is one of the few gaming magazines that actually has good enough content do do a bookazine, the only other gaming bookazine I have seen is GamesTM retro.

Really looking forward to picking this up tomorrow, thinking of maybe subscribing soon, is there a free gift when you subscribe?

Not really.

The first three issues of your sub only cost £1 each, though, and every six issues thereafter will cost you £21.

Really good issue,so good in fact that I decided to subscribe. I was going to cancel my edge subscription but the new look convinced me not to.

Rapidly-greying is Mediocre to Average at games :fp:
