Don’t think I can argue with that top 5, classic after classic.

There is a clear retro bias in that list, unacceptable

PSP was robbed

PC - 16th. I suppose most people who would be inclined to vote PC would be reading a different magazine.

We should migrate GRcade to Flarum. :toot:

03 - Sony PlayStation
01 - Nintendo SNES

These two are in the wrong positions. Must have been a typo.

Actually, Dreamcast should be higher up than the SNES and MD.

Here's the original top 10.

10 - Nintendo Gamecube
09 - Sinclair Spectrum
08 - Commodore 64
07 - Nintendo 64
06 - Sony PlayStation 2
05 - Commodore Amiga 500
04 - PC
03 - Microsoft Xbox 360
02 - Sega Dreamcast
01 - Sony PlayStation

Magazine needs to be recalled.

Do you think Dreamcast gets looked at with rose-tinted specs, moreso because it was Sega's last console? Also, the limited time it was out for?

Without knowing what they're using as characteristics for "Greatness", I would definitely rank the Dreamcast in my top 5 best looking consoles. It's a beauty

The controller isn't the best though.

It is. I've always considered picking one up and starting a little retro collection. But that controller... :dread:

My top 5:

1. SNES
2. NES
3. N64
4. Dreamcast
5. Gameboy

Having a Dreamcast back then was like owning an arcade machine in your home.

But nothing comes remotely close to the SNES.

No I don't think so. Both of mine unfortunately died because the consoles build quality was dire, but Dreamcast was home to some cracking games. Hooray for emulation.
