I do see your point, Cora, although looking back over the options for the past 70-odd weeks it feels like there has been a pretty good mixture available overall. Also, recognising that this week's choices are a little more obscure, Hypes posted a brief summary and screenshot for each option .

I know that he's posted summaries and screenshots, but as someone who has no interest in any of the three games it's difficult to build up the ability to care about any of them with the information provided. This isn't a slight against Hyperion's choices, but Without going through the whole 78 week run of the retro games I can't really comment on how it's been overall, but I know I've seen a few left-field choices recently.

I feel that's kind of the point of this for me anyway. I don't care about watching someone play SMW for the thousandth time and I'd rather see something that might be an obscure gem.

Sorry forgot to cutting it short, it wasn't much fun after the novelty of the flasher wore off and not just that I didn't think it was being very entertaining with the same 2 levels being played. I may be wrong and if I am I apologize again.

It did seem to be a really tough game. There wasn't much direction on exactly what you had to photograph... I guess it's the kinda old-school game where you find out by repetition.

I don't think you saw it in the chat, Pedz, but there was a PS2 sequel called... Polaroid Pete!

Cool. I wonder if it any better.

It really bugged me on Stage 2. 'Photograph someone dangerous' I photographed someone grabbing a kid that turned into a T-800, Michael Jackson, people fighting, a guy on a wanted sign and King Kong and none were right!? Come on.

It's a shame we couldn't get the level select working, I suspect it's a game where the appeal is seeing all the wacky imagery as opposed to overcoming level objectives

1. The Adventures of Batman and Robin SNES - one of Konami's last SNES games - based on the cartoon of the same name - fun, colourful beat-em-up.

2. Illusion of Time SNES - yes it's an RPG, and there's only so much poor Pedz can do in an hour, but the opening hour of this game is charming, fun, and a little story of its own. Plus it has killker music.

3. Joe and Mac Caveman Ninja 3 SNES - I for one, didn't know that there were 2 sequels to the original Joe and Mac...but the third game is meant to be the best in the series of these fun arcade platformers.

I'm in for Illusion. Never watched any gameplay of it before, and it's a bit different to the usual arcade-style picks. It'd be good to see something of this classic title.

It was one of my favourite SNES games - a great action-RPG.

Utterly charming and engrossing, and highly under-rated. In my opinion, much better than the over-hyped Square Final Fantasy and Mana games.

Sorry guys, but I won't be doing the Retro Stream tonight. My kids are home from school so we've spent the day out and are still out. I don't think I'll be in in time to get them to have food, bathed and to bed and have to to grab the stuff I need for the stream.
