I'm really liking this. It's reminding me of all the characters from X I'd forgotten and how much I enjoyed Maximum Velocity. I miss F-Zero

Might get an emulator for it and give it a go not sure I would get on with it...

Give it a try, it really isn't a bad game, I'm just awful at F-Zero. I really do mean awful. I suck at racing games anyway, but F-Zero and wipeout are just to much for me.
