Nice write-up, Pedz - the game seems to have stood the test of time reasonably well. I remember my brother was into the game, playing it on both PC and PlayStation. It was highly regarded at the time and it's a shame that the franchise has kinda disappeared into the shadows in recent years. It must have made for a good change to play a different style of game on the Retro Monday slot.

Yeah, it was cool to play something a little different, shame an hour isn't enough for some games.

So that's a fantastic pinball game, a tough shooter and a platformer that I've not played but gained a good reception upon release.

Not familiar with any of them but would be interested to see some PC Enginge action as that's quite an unknown quantity for me.

I've never owned a PCE but I have a couple of the games - including Devil Crash - on the Wii Virtual Console. DC is an ace pinballer and it is also available on the Mega Drive under the "Dragon's Fury" name. The PC Engine was an 8-bit console but, performance-wise, it often matched the Mega Drive and SNES.

Looks like Mega Turrican is in the lead by 1 vote, Ristar just behind and Devil Crash behind that. Wonder if it'll change by 7? I don't think there's a twitter vote this week either.

OK, it's gone 7 and Mega Turrican has won. I don't know if I'll be able to stream tonight though, as I'm still cooking food, haven't got my youngest to bed, and stuff. It'll most likely be tomorrow due to this. Unfortunately, I can see this happening a few times during the 6 weeks holidays.
