Retronauts Blog

Finally! This Retronauts thing we've been doing for a long damn time finally has its own dedicated space on the site. Now that 1UP has a Retronauts blog, there will be no one to stop our mad scheme of...well, of writing about old games a lot. Admittedly, I'm not sure ours is exactly the sort of ambition that typically finds much opposition.

Like our iPhone blog The Tilt, Retronauts will feature many interesting (hopefully) posts from an all-star cast of people who like to write about such things. News, weekly columns, interviews, retrospectives, podcast announcements, and of course the late, lamented Retro Roundup will all find a home here.

But not this week! Just our luck that this launch happened right before everyone leaves for the holiday. Expect to see a small trickle of content here for the remainder of 2008, followed by a veritable gusher of postings once 2009 rolls around. Think of this as a small placeholder, if you like. In the meantime, we're in the process of relocating our collective backlog of old retrogaming blogs to this format, so you can reread our sloppily-formatted archives while you're waiting for new content about old games. Enjoy.
