I go back to the Wire every few years. So good.

I usually rewatch Band of Brothers at Christmas. Haven't managed it this year, but it's aged incredibly well.

That's a bloody good idea! Loved that series!

I go back to old movies all the time. Jaws, Star Wars, Ghostbusters (probably seen each of those three 25+ times!) to name a few of an extensive list.

I'm rewatching Lost at present. So good and so easy to see why we were so caught up in it's lore back in the day.

Also frequently watch random episodes of House. I've taken the missus through The Shield and I'm planning to take her through The Wire and The Sopranos next year, all in glorious HD.

Hmm. I think it's aged really, really badly. It's so early 2000's, and I'm not talking about the CGI. Serenity stands up, but I've not gone back to FF since the last time I saw it and realised it was a bit rubbish now.

I never watched Firefly. Though I did watch the spin off film (Serenity?!) which I thought was OK

The film is actually very good. The television series is also excellent, but it was pretty low budget and has aged considerably. It doesn't bother me at all and in fact I enjoy it in a similar way to how I enjoy Red Dwarf. Sometimes it felt a bit like an American version of that.

I watched Blake's 7 when it was on TV (late 70s I think). I then re-watched most of it in the early 90s on VHS. It was gooseberry fool.

They loved Sons of Anarchy (and they couldn't believe Jackson Teller was a local lad from Newcastle), so I thought The Shield would be a good natural progression, both from Kurt Sutter.

I'm trying to decide what will be interesting for them next.
