I decided to re-watch Warehouse 13 as I have the full series collection on DVD and I'm just over half way through the feature length first episode and it's reminding me why I loved this series so much. Yes, it may not be everyone's cup of tea but I find the characters likeable and the the hunt for artefacts is well handled. I'm really looking forward to just sitting back and letting the series fly by as I know it just gets better and better.

I never know how to end opening posts like this without the rather cliched "So, what have you gone back to recently?" or similar so can you also suggest ways to make a question topic like this without such a corny ending.

I don't think I've ever re-watched a TV series that was not a comedy.

Nearing the end of re-watching Only Fools and Horses (Xmas innit). I've seen most episodes 3-4 times already but after the Mrs deciding she liked it after all a while back we've been watching all the episodes in order.

About 5 episodes to go. If we don't get it done by Xmas day will probably forget the early 2000 episodes which should never have been made.

I've been watching the different series of Star Trek. Went through DS9 in episode order, cherry picked TNG and Voyager in episode order.

My love for DS9 has increased more than anything. So much so that I stick on episodes to rewatch while I'm doing stuff around the house. Best Star Trek series. I don't think we'll ever get something like this again.

Voyager on the other hand :dread:

I loved Warehouse 13, seemed to strike a nice balance between drama and whimsy that I couldn't really find anywhere else.

Sad thing is Voyager had some great episodes...

I randomly felt the urge to re-watch Death Wish.

I bought and watched The Prisoner on Bluray with my son (original 60s series). I remember watching that on Channel 4 with my Dad so I've "passed it on" to the next generation.

I've also been watching on and off the first series of The Twilight Zone (black & white) with my kids. The special effects are obviously naff, but some of the stories are still great today (and you see a lot of famous actors before they were famous, and dead).

Also re-watched both Life on Mars and Ashes to Ashes with my kids a few years back. Re-watched Brooklyn 99 with my son and have now started season 3.

I've watched a few episodes of the twilight zone over the last few months. It's still interesting in places but is very dated and can't stand up to shows written by today's super writers.

Twin peaks and x files. I've seen all of twin peaks 3 times now and I've watched through all of the x files twice . 3 times in total including when it was originally shown.

Also I've just downloaded a couple of series of The Outer Limits, loved that show.

Got every single episode of Cracker on DVD. I wish it could be remastered. It's like they ripped it straight from VHS. :(

I'm a bit of a resolution snob when it comes to TV stuff and it really spoils it for me.

Same here, I loved watching the Sopranos on my laptop but having recently transferred all 10 seasons onto my external HD they look like gooseberry fool on my big tv :fp:

How did you do that, just out of interest? I want to do that with all of my DVDs, with a view to achieving some sort of Plex-based uber-library, and I'm using Handbrake. Very slow process... any tips welcome.

I sailed the high seas and just downloaded the complete collection from a torrent site, was about 30GB I think but each episode was only 480p (maybe even 240p) so whilst it looked alright on a small laptop screen when you blow it up on a 50" plasma it just looked rubbish.

I really liked it too, was incredibly silly at times but that's part of its charm.

I've been introducing my parents to some decent TV this past year and so far I've rewatched with them: Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, Sons of Anarchy and now we are up to Season 3 of The Shield, watching 2/3 episodes per night.

They loved Sons of Anarchy (and they couldn't believe Jackson Teller was a local lad from Newcastle), so I thought The Shield would be a good natural progression, both from Kurt Sutter.

I'm trying to decide what will be interesting for them next.

I'm always watching old Who. Would quite like to watch Blakes 7 again as the last time I saw it was as a kid.

I've never seen the Sopranos.
Always wanted to, but never got around to it.

Should I drop everything and watch the Sopranos?

Yes, obviously.
