British actor and film director Richard Attenborough has died at the age of 90.

He died at lunchtime on Sunday, his son told BBC News.

Lord Attenborough was one of Britain's leading actors, before becoming a highly successful director.

He appeared in films including Brighton Rock, World War Two thriller The Great Escape and later in dinosaur blockbuster Jurassic Pa

strawberry float. Had JP3 on tonight, reminiscing with my dad about him surprising me with a trip to Odeon to see Jurassic Park.

Very sad news.

Jurassic Park is my favourite film and as it happens I've been playing JP: Operation Genesis most of this evening. RIP :(

I can't comment on that last post as I just heard it on the car radio and instantly got him confused with David... I feel kinda stupid.
