Precisely what I got from reading that. Genuinely awful piece, as if people shouldn't aspire to create something other than a basic Q&A show.

Another game challenged players to find the rhyming connection between a former Foreign Secretary and a gooey yellow spread (Douglas Hurd, lemon curd).
As ever, Richard seems supremely superior to all the confusion. Every thoughtless mistake is mocked with gentle thoroughness and arched eyebrows.
Radio 1 DJ Clara Amfo had to estimate how many British babies were named Richard in 2015, and said: ‘60,000.’ With lethal logic and statistical analysis, the host explained that, if Clara was right, 20 per cent of all baby boys that year would be Richards.
It’s like watching a university don eviscerate a hapless first-year student. No surprise that Richard, as he occasionally likes to remind us, went to Cambridge.

strawberry floating codswallop, that. Needlessly harsh and just comes off like the DM feel stupid when they don't know an answer so are pre-emptively blaming it on Richard Osman. :|

Yep, I'd take the Mail disliking it and saying it makes them feel stupid as a good thing. :toot:

Hopefully I'll be able to catch this before I head round later on. Looking forward to seeing that new giant picture of you and Richard Osman in a passionate embrace you said you ordered!

The panel has an Asian man and a black woman, of course the DM hate it.

I'm really enjoying it now, the first episode felt a little odd with no audience, but I've got used to it now. Great stuff DML!

That second round had wildly differing difficulty. The Queen question was pretty easy but that Mercury one!
Enjoyed the backwards alphabet letters one, but that Golf one was harsh!!
Smashed the word smash one again. Are they allowed to buzz in before the question is finished or are they just slow?

We give the viewers at home at least a chance to see the question.

Watching EP3 now, really like this show, it would be good one a week a think, every day seems a little much but it is a good way of getting people used to the format and stuff.

The latest issue of Empire magazine has an article all about DML's 4th new show, All Star Are You A Werewolf?

Getting DiCaprio as leader is a masterstroke for the ratings!

Well it has been for 3-4 years, but having more creative control is where we're at right now. If we can just get a Series 2, then maybe things change.

I still can't get over DigitalSpy being so nice on their forums. They really eviscerated The Chase when that started, only to come round to it. For it just to be nice is.....really nice.
