You probably won't recognise the name, but you definitely will recognise his voice.

:( :( :(

Movie trailers just won't ever be the same without him.

Wow, it's going to take a lot to replace him as the next voiceover guy.

RIP in peace.

Nooooo, I saw the name pop up earlier, i did not recogise the name, but the voice, he was a living legend.

Man he will be missed, when they get some douche like Russel brand to replace him. :fp:

I'm pretty sure there's more than one 'deep-voiced movie trailer guy', but he was by far the most well known.

One was on Ready Steady Cook last year. He's a black man.

Isn't he the guy who was discovered when someone heard him trying to scare the passengers on a Tube train he was driving?

Shame. :(

Although - most movie trailers nowadays simply utilise recorded dialogue taken from the actual script, thus negating the use of his gravelly tones. Not that his loss will signal the demise of VO guys the world over, but I doubt his legendary status will ever be matched.

Shame. Just to let the doubters know, he wasn't the only famous voiceover guy. Plenty others that sound similar.

There's 4 more right there. And the video's good.

:( RIP, fella.

It's a shame he can't read his own eulogy.
