I just presumed the combat was a bit ropey cos it was the same as first one. Don't remember 1 instance of missing a jump or ruining a stealth section at all. I wouldn't see it as any worse than The Witcher 3 in that regard.

Patch v1.04 released.

Improvements to 4K image quality and frame rate for PS4 Pro.
Reduced input latency.
A variety of bug-fixes and improved stability.

It's nice to hear that Square Enix has improved the control latency issue... but it is odd that publishers now feel that it's okay to release products even if they're not ready or performing as well as they should. It has become normal to release games that require huge Day One patches, and often need further patches over the first few weeks post-launch.

I wonder why we games-buyers accept it? I guess this is a discussion for another thread rather than specifically about Rise of the Tomb Raider, but it had made me wonder as, in this case, Square-Enix had a whole year to get this right before they launched on PS4.

The latest patch v1.04 have bricked my progress as I can't go any further with load it up my latest save file. It's stuck there and it always crashed every single time. :evil:

This morning, I tried it again and it's fine now. It seemed like the PSN server caused it having a problem. Phew! :toot:

Aye, EuroGamer says crashes are connected to internet connection issues. If it happens again try disconnecting PS4 from internet.

Spent most of Sunday's playtime distracted into the Yaba Bogo (or whatever) DLC. Nice little distraction - but I'm glad to go back to main quests now.

And... I've completed it 100%! 8-)

It took me almost 26 hours to finish the main campaign, so when I returned to do the missions, challenges and secrets and it wasn't much to do. Now, I will start the new adventure Baba Yaga soon. :D

Does the game keep track of the time you've played allowing you to see it easily?

Oh yes, you can access it by the settings and I can't remember, but there is border option to show it. It's a small black border around the TV showing gameplay time on the bottom right corner. Hope you can find it.

Well, I tend to do as much as I can on my first run like exploring every secrets I can, find the challenges and missions before I move to another area. So, when I returned after I finished and I would say about no more than two hours at least.

Maybe it will be more time for some people depends on how they played on the campaign.

I'm finding all the collectables so far really easy. Kind of a disappointment

Just had my first firefight about 45 minutes in (Xbox One version) and immediately noticed the aiming delay when shooting. How the strawberry float have they not fixed this? :dread: I can't aim properly at all. I'm sure I'll get used to it but why on earth is it like this in the first place? It's like there's a massive deadzone in the sticks or something. It actually reminds me of playing a PS3 shooter with those awful analogues that had a similar deadzone problem. I keep over-aiming.

Anyway, it's decent enough so far, however I really wish I could turn off this XP gooseberry fool as well as the Batman vision prompts. I want to figure out what to do on my own, thanks game.
