I have never played this (do we have a term for playing this: Rocket-ed? RL-ed? Leagued?) but it looks a laugh so I may try and join tonight.

Am I going to be completely out of my depth and spend most of the time not having a clue what is going on? (as I tend to in Mario Kart! ) Would it make more sense to wait until I've played a bit on my own first?

I'm not very good at Rocket League but I always have fun when I play on Tuesdays. We have people of all skill levels! You're welcome to join right away with no practice at all if you want!
