The 'Noooo' scene was an abomination and makes the world a worse place to live. The Rogue One scene was just a touch jarring.

The 'NOOOO' scene was dire! But I didn't have an issue with the 'Choke' scene. I didn't notice it until the other night when watching ROTJ, that Lucas stuck a 'NOOOO' voice over as Vader grabs the Emperor!

I always thought the noooo scene was a reference to when Vader appears at the end of revenge of the sith, I also didn't realise that it had been dubbed into ROTJ.

I wonder if we will get any spin-off stories that dont pander (for lack of a better word) to the OG trilogy. Like can we get a seperate story that doesn't rely on the Skywalker/Solo/Kenobi lineage

You are correct, but they've also dubbed it into the latest edition of ROTJ. Lucas still wants to strawberry float up his own movies!

There's a Boba Fett story coming. I can't imagine how that could possibly overlap (that much) with the existing/known films, given that we are pretty much aware of his total involvement to date.

It'll probably involve Jabba which will in turn mean they can make reference to Han Solo and probably go to Mos Eisley.

I think I'd be comfortable with a mention here and there - I doubt they could avoid it - but I can't see how any of the 'core' characters could possibly be central to a Boba Fett plot.

I reckon they will do. If you remember, when they were on the sand skiff in ROTJ and Han cannot see properly, Fett is lining up a shot at Luke. Chewie yells at Han, his response was 'Boba Fett? Boba Fett? Where?' and then spins around to pierce his jet pack. So for him to recognize his name tells us they've crossed before.

Yes... they crossed in the Cloud City when Fett captured him, froze him and turned him over to Jabba the Hutt

See, why would anyone want a back story for Fett? Isn't his whole appeal that he's mysterious? May as well go full retard and tell us his midiclorian count.

1. Boba Fett seems to be a pretty legendary bounty hunter, which is why he is among the handful hired by the Empire to find the Falcon. It's more than likely Solo and Chewbacca knew of Fett by reputation alone, and given the circles they both ran in, they probably had crossed paths before.
2. We already have Fett's origin in Episode II.

I'd be much more interested in a Fett film starting out where Episode VI left him - in the Sarlacc's stomach. Let's see his story during the waning days of the Empire and beyond. It could give us a look at that era without having to overtly thrusting more Young Original Cast in our faces.

I also might be interested in a Vader-centric film, were it not for the possibility that he may cry "NoOo" at every turn.

Vader caught him. Fett merely followed Han to Bespin (and they weren't introduced) :shifty:

I want a two hour Vader stand up show, focusing mainly on the observational.

"Don't you just hate it when you go in to your regeneration chamber...and there's no toilet paper?!"

Pfft. Everyone knows Vader keeps his toilet paper in the carbon freezer.

I will shamelessly admit that I would love a -1 film centered around Yoda and Mace Windu. strawberry float it, throw in the rise and fall of Darth Plageus as well. Bring on the -1, -2, -3 trilogy!!

Yes, I am part of the problem :shifty:.
